We are not a corporately owned dental practice with multiple locations and dentists. We have one location that is privately owned by Drs. Jill and Chad Colson. We offer consistency and attention to detail for our patients as they receive care customized by either Dr. Jill Colson or Dr. Chad Colson.
We differentiate ourselves by delivering an exceptional patient experience. Each interaction we have with our patients is thoughtful and intentional. Our schedule is designed to allow for quality time with each patient. Comprehensive exams for new patients in our office typically last for 1-1.5 hours —and when we are finished, patients routinely say, “Wow, I’ve never had a thorough dental exam like that!”
As a patient in our practice, you bring so much variability–each patient is unique! We consider the emotional, financial, esthetic, structural, functional and biologic aspects of your dentistry. We think about your dentistry! Dentistry is not “one size fits all” and oversimplifying it is a risk. Your dental needs may only involve routine hygiene visits or they may involve more extensive treatment. This is why we take the time to learn about you and your unique dental needs.

- A Heartfelt Welcome Back! At Dentistry at Pelham Pointe, we are here for you and your family in these challenging times!
We have always put our patients and team’s health and safety first and will continue to do so! During the shelter in place, our team was busy reinforcing what we have always done to keep our patients safe and secure–as well as implement additional steps so that we could re- open with confidence! Our vision is to keep our patients informed and supported every step of the way. We want you to know:
- Our office will communicate with you before your scheduled appointment to ask COVID-19 screening questions. You’ll be asked those same questions again the day of your appointment.
- Upon your arrival for your appointment, please wait in your car and call our office at 864-271-6705. We will instruct you on when to enter our office.
- Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that we may ask you to wait in your car for a few minutes while we manage another patient.
- Upon entering our office, we will take your temperature. You will find hand sanitizer available throughout our office. At this time, we are not able to offer every patient a mask.
- Our entire staff will be wearing personal protective equipment during this period of social distancing. We are monitoring our temperatures daily upon our arrival to the office.
- The patient reception area, patient bathrooms, check-in and check-out areas will be disinfected after each patient interaction.
- We can offer to expedite your check out process by taking payment over the phone while you wait in your car or by accepting payment online at our website.
If you are medically vulnerable, don’t feel well, or simply don’t feel comfortable coming in to our office—we understand your need to stay home. We are happy to re-schedule your appointment whenever you are ready.
Our staff are symptom-free and, to the best of their knowledge, have not been exposed to the virus. Since we are a place of public accommodation, other persons (including other patients) could be infected, with or without their knowledge.

Same-Day Dental Crowns
Same-Day Crowns allow our doctors to plan, produce, and insert an individual ceramic crown during your first (and only) appointment, using a digital impression. Indeed, our CAD/CAM machine by Amann Girrbach allows you to be in and out of our office in one visit, complete with a new, permanent, all-ceramic crown and restored smile.
3-D Guided Implant Surgery
All of our implant patients’ surgeries are first planned with a virtual surgery using integrated software for precise placement of the crown and minimal risk to the surrounding nerves. Using 3D imaging, we are able to quickly create digital panoramic views for fast, efficient and comfortable diagnoses, which lead to precise treatment planning. We transfer the information to a surgical guide, using CAD/CAM technology, during CT guided implant surgery.
Intraoral Digital Scanner
Our digital scanner streamlines much of the impression-making process by removing the need to fill patients’ mouths with impression material, pour molds, and wait for stone models to set. The intra-oral scanner allows us to be able to take highly precise digital impressions of patients’ mouths in a matter of minutes.
Serving Locally and Globally
We are committed to providing dental services in our local community and beyond. We volunteer at JumpStart—a Christian non-profit that assists in the re-entry of prison inmates to society—by relieving oral pain and restoring smiles in an effort to help ex-offenders transition successfully and prepare for job opportunities. As part of our global outreach, we travel to Kenya every other year to deliver dental treatments to the local communities, extracting teeth and bringing hope.
